Trace a photon of sunlight (energy) from the point where it hits a leaf, through being incorporated into the leaf as glucose (photosynthesis), to being eaten by a giraffe and incorporated into the giraffe’s cells (cellular respiration).

up to + 5 additional if you can track it through the giraffe being eaten by a lion and incorporated into the LION’s cells.

This is a flexible assignment – at a minimum you must give the scientific details of photosynthesis and cellular respiration…but you can also be creative as to the scenarios involved. Have fun!! 🙂
