  • Using the ethical decision-making model from the media resource in Module 1, explain the course of action you would take to resolve the ethical dilemma described in the LI002: Part I Case Study.
  • Explain how individual, group, and organizational factors may contribute to unethical behavior in organizations.
  • Describe two strategies or initiatives that could be applied in organizations to prevent unethical behavior.

Part II: Ethical Decision-Making in Organizational Settings: Employee Assessment and Selection

Suppose you are the I/O psychologist in the case study. Write a 2- to 3-page memo that includes the following:

  • Identify the ethical dilemmas and legal issues in the case study.
  • Explain how you would resolve the ethical dilemmas and legal issues in the case study. Support your reasoning with specific standards, laws, and ethical decision-making models. If applicable, explain how you would engage in the organization’s internal ethics and compliance processes to resolve the ethical dilemmas and legal issues.
  • Propose an alternative solution that meets the needs of the leader.

  • Propose solutions that would benefit the COO and the VP in the case study.

  • Explain how you plan to resolve the ethical dilemmas and legal issues. Support your explanation with specific ethical standards, laws, and decision-making models.
  • Propose a solution that would benefit the dissertation chair and the doctoral student.
