Celebrity Paper Assignment and Rubric

You must select one celebrity who has been diagnosed with a chronic illness. ALL SELECTIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE INSTRUCTOR so celebrities are not duplicated. You must describe how the celebrity’s life has changed being diagnosed with their particular disease. You must use at least 3 peer-reviewed references/journals and list them in the bibliography. In-text citations must be properly done in accordance with APA format. Journals should be dated no later than five (5) years to allow relevant and current information. Use the attached rubric as a guide for your paper.

Celebrity Presentation

Presentation length should be 5-10 minutes per student. Youmay use videos such as YouTube but such videos must not exceed 2 minutes in length. Presentations should describe the associated pathology with a description of how the celebrity was affected (similar to the paper). Use the attached rubric as a guide. Presentations should be creative!!! Students may role play and/or use props.
