How to derive (dp/dT) and (dv/dT) at constant entropy, thermodynamics, physics homework help
Derive (dp/dT) and (dv/dT) at constant entropy. Then use van der waals equation of state to write (dp/dT) and (dv/dT) at constant entropy as functions of heat capacities, temperature and molar volume. Of the two equations found through VDW equation of state, which is easier to integrate if you know initial volume and temperature?
Also v is molar volume to simplify VDW to p = RT/(v-b) – a^2/v
An explanation of how I would go about deriving the two equations is greatly appreciated.
