Should we be making decisions for the future?

One of the clear consequences of significant increases to lifespan is a dramatic increase in world population unless birth rates are also reduced. Au brey deGrey says while this may be true, the current generation (us) should not make moral decisions for future generations based on our current beliefs and understandings.
