As I mentioned in class Tuesday, I want you to think about Type I and Type II error. Specifically, identify a situation in which Type I error would be the greater concern and a different situation in which Type II error would be the greater concern.

Describe each situation. Then, explain in detail why Type I/Type II error is the thing you would most want to avoid in each of the situations.

The situations you identify should involve either public relations or advertising.

Overall, I would guess it will take approximately 1 to 1.5 pages (double-spaced) for each situation.
