Database Activity with Microsoft Access

1.Create Blank Access database

2.Click OK

3.Name the new file, then click Create

4.Select Create table in Design View

5.Under Field name Type in Patient Name and select Text under Data type

·Repeat this step to create the remaining text fields.

·For numeric fields, select “Number” for their data type.

1.Select View then Datasheet View. Click yes if the pop-up window asks to save the table or if it ask to create the primary key.

2.Under the Patient Name field, type in Test Patient One. Fill in the rest of the data by selecting the cell and type in appropriate data.

3.Once you have entered all the data save your document.
