Cochlear
The cochlea is the snail shell shaped portion of the ear which is filled with a watery like substance. The perilymph, the watery liquid, moves in response to vibrations from the middle ear. However, this could not happen if the cochlea was damaged in anyway. What is a cochlear implant? Are there any benefits from having a device like this implanted?
